Why you should support Momentum

Theresa May is in chaos. It looks like there’ll be another election - and it could happen at any moment. That means we can make Jeremy Corbyn Prime Minister. We can end austerity and improve millions of lives. But only if we step up now.

In just 7 weeks we worked together to knock on millions of doors and persuade hundreds of thousands of people to vote Labour. In just seven weeks a third of UK Facebook users viewed a Momentum viral video.

Thanks to donations from people like you, while the tabloids and Tories laughed, convinced we would lose - we got our hands dirty and delivered the biggest upset in recent political history.

We did all of this on a shoestring. Imagine what we could achieve together if every single person who supports Jeremy Corbyn donates what they can afford. Imagine us winning an election together. That future is within our grasp.

We’ve got a plan to make Momentum election ready. Some highlights include:

  • Training thousands of activists to lead election-winning groups in their communities and persuade millions of people on doorsteps across the country.
  • Ramping up the social media videos that got the Tories scared, reaching tens of millions of voters and ending the stranglehold of the right-wing press.
  • Building bigger and better digital tools to get hundreds of thousands of people canvassing in the most important areas of the country. We just turned Kensington Labour - imagine what we could do next time.

But we have to start today. Another election could come at any moment, and we need to be ready.

Momentum’s members were a powerful force in the election. Together, we helped fuel Labour’s historic comeback. Next time we can do more, and better. Next time we can get Jeremy into Downing Street.

We cannot wait until an election is called. The campaign has to start now. And we can’t do it without you. Please donate today.

Our fans say:

“Labour have used Momentum to devastating effect.”
Giles Kenningham, former Conservative Party director of communications.

“That is the achievement of Momentum, and the social media campaign and the unorthodox style of campaigning that lots of people like us sneered at. We were all wrong. And that is a major game changer.”
Andrew Marr, journalist and broadcaster.

“The Conservative Party can learn a lot from Momentum.”
Michael Gove, Conservative MP.
