Why you should support Hampstead and Kilburn Labour Party
Please help Hampstead and Kilburn Constituency Labour Party raise the funds needed to send our delegation to Party Conference.
Our huge local membership of over 2,000 people entitles us to send 10 delegates to Party Conference. But due to the high costs associated with Conference expenses and a lack of available CLP funds, having just fought a general election and with local elections next year, members decided that we would send 4 delegates, as we did last year.
Labour's annual conference is the Party's sovereign decision-making body, where representatives from every constituency across the country come to determine Party policy, rules, and strategy, and to exchange ideas and experiences about campaigning and community organising.
Members at the Hampstead and Kilburn Constituency meeting on 21st June felt it was vital that our constituency Party is represented at Conference, ensuring our voice is heard in key decisions and enabling us to network and share tactics ahead of local elections next year and another general election, possibly on the horizon.
We elected our 4 delegates on 21st June, but we need to raise an additional £700 more by 7th July in order to send them.
Please give what you can to help fund our delegation to Conference.
If you donate over £50 you will receive a Labour Party bag signed by Jeremy Corbyn!
