Why you should support Jim Kenyon
I am self funding my campaign because I feel that Herefordshire needs a strong independent presence in Westminster to hold the government to account. All the other political parties have millions in donations and vast campaign chests. I am standing independently and willing to spend my own money to fight for what is best for our county.
I was proud to serve my country in the armed forces for 14 years. Following on from that I have served my community for the past 17 years. The last 6 as a City and County councillor in Hereford. I understand how politics and politicians work; I do not like it. That is why I feel the time is right for an independent voice in Westminster. Someone who stands up and promotes what is best for the people of Herefordshire and not the parties that MP’s represent.
I have a proven track record in delivering projects and outcomes for the City, County and community.
I am passionate about Herefordshire and feel it has been over looked and had poor representation from Westminster. I am not a career politician and have no interest in furthering a career, I am so frustrated that the county I love is not getting the support it needs and I plan to rectify that. As an independent I can vote anyway I like and will not have to follow a party line. My first and most important allegiance will always be Hereford and South Herefordshire.
Being a maverick because I like get things done straight away for the people that need help the most. I AM going to do the same in the House of Commons.
I'm a firm believer in "if you want things to be different you have to do things differently" If we continue to vote for the same people, the same parties with the same promises we will get the same results.
Let me do things differently.......
Please give a donation today -- any amount will help, from £1 to £1,000
Thank you so much for your time and kind donation.
