General Election Fund for Something New

Why you should support Something New

Something New is start up political party trying to build better politics for the UK.

Our old political options are broken, and we need new choices for the 21st century. We are building a new political party that's all about working towards a better future, built on openness, collaboration and the power of the Internet to connect us all. We stood two candidates in the 2017 General Election, giving thousands of people the chance to vote for something new, and it wasn't cheap! We need your help to cover our modest campaigning costs.

Here's what you need to know:

Most minor parties are single-issue, or start that way and often get stuck with that image. That’s not us. From the start, we’ve been dedicated to building a broad platform of policies that we believe people will vote for, and we’ve chosen a name that doesn’t pigeonhole us into a particular issue.

We believe in giving power back the people. Using our Open Democracy platform, anyone can suggest policies for the manifesto. What other party does that?

All our finances are published on our website. Everything. We have nothing to hide.

If you want to bring politics into the 21st century, demand for Something New.

How your support will help:

Your support through Crowdpac is not only financial, you'll be joining a growing community of people asking for change, in the way we run our country! We've already covered the deposits for our candidates and now we need to cover the costs of leaflets we sent out during the campaign. All party members are volunteers and do not get paid (your support helps us continue our work).

Your information will be held securely and privately. By donating, you agree to receive updates from this campaign and Crowdpac, and consent to the use of cookies in accordance with our privacy policy. You can opt out at any time.
